BNZ is proud to announce the energization of Rinaldone, its first solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Italy. The 45 MW solar farm, located in the Lazio region near Viterbo, marks a significant milestone in the company’s renewable energy ambitions.
The Rinaldone facility is expected to power approximately 16,000 homes and prevent the emission of 23,000 tonnes of CO2 annually. This project is a key part of BNZ’s broader strategy to expand its renewable energy footprint in Southern Europe, with the company targeting the deployment of 1.7 GW of renewable energy capacity across the region.
Italy, with its abundant solar potential, plays a central role in BNZ’s vision for sustainable growth. The successful energization of Rinaldone underscores the company’s commitment to contributing to the country’s transition to clean energy.
