
Japanese energy company Clean Energy Connect Co Ltd has announced a 70 MW solar power project in Japan.
The company shared that it will deploy the solar power generation for the benefit of the NTT Anode Energy Corp.
According to Clean Energy Connect, "it will develop the project under an electricity procurement contract with NTT Anode Energy Corp," a report mentioned.
It has been reported that the agreement will be followed by the supply of the generated power to the telecommunications group in particular. The duo informed that the project is likely to be finalised by 2023.
The company stated that the development would be possible through an offsite power purchase agreement.
Both the companies have expressed commitment to support boosting the renewable energy industry of Japan and to help it achieve the goals.
