DAS Solar has announced the shipment of the first batch of its N-type modules to Thailand. The company is known as a leader in N-type technology.
The shipment represents the official arrival of 72-cell N-type technology in the Thai market. The company had collaborated with QSD, its distributor for Thailand and Southeast Asia, for the shipment.
The latest development comes at a time when Thailand’s solar installation capacity has reached around 900MW in 2022, as per the official statistics. Out of this total installation, commercial and industrial projects have a stake of nearly 750MW.
To be noted, DAS Solar has set a world record for TOPCon 3.0 open circuit voltage (Voc) of 730mV. In addition, the company informed that it has already supplied high-quality products and solutions to over 60 countries and regions.
Thailand aims to achieve a photovoltaic capacity of 15.6GW by 2037 as outlined in its National Power Development Plan.
