The agreement concluded by the Cubi Group and the Dolomiti Energia Group provides for total investments of almost 60 million euros over the next three years, with the first of the eight photovoltaic systems coming into operation during 2025.

Dolomiti Transition Assets, which is entirely part of Dolomiti Energia Holding, has acquired 100% of the share capital of New Power Group and Powertwo, established with the aim of developing a series of photovoltaic systems. This is what emerged from the investment agreement concluded yesterday by the Cubi Group and the Dolomiti Energia Group.

The agreement, which provides for total investments of almost 60 million euros over the next three years, concerns eight photovoltaic plants located in Northern Italy, currently in the advanced authorization phase, with an expected installed power of approximately 58 MW. According to reports, the first plant will come into operation during 2025.

“With this agreement we give concrete implementation to our strategic plan for development and growth in renewable energy, with particular reference to photovoltaics, making use of local knowledge to identify suitable sites and technical knowledge in the area of development, authorization, design and construction of plants ”, declared Niccolò Cubi, major shareholder of the Cubi Group.

“We are historic producers of hydroelectric energy and we have chosen to provide our customers only energy certified as renewable. Strengthened by the skills acquired, we create the conditions and tools necessary to facilitate and accompany people, industries and the country towards a sustainable future. The agreement signed is fully part of the path that the Dolomiti Energia Group has long traced to contribute in a concrete and significant way to the energy transition. In total coherence with the strategic vision and objectives outlined in our Industrial Plan to 2027, with this operation we diversify and strengthen our presence in the clean energy market as well as substantially participating in the achievement of the decarbonisation objectives defined at global level ”, are the words of Silvia Arlanch President of the Dolomiti Energia Group.
