Eiffage Energía Sistemas has officially launched the Cubillas Photovoltaic Solar Plant, a 35 MWp facility located near the Cubillas reservoir in Albolote, 20 km from Granada.
The plant, built for X-ELIO, is set to generate an estimated 71,733 MWh of clean energy annually, enough to power over 20,000 homes, contributing significantly to the region's renewable energy capacity.
The inauguration was attended by representatives from X-ELIO, local government officials, and the Eiffage Energía Sistemas team, including Daniel Garrido Rubio, International and Renewable Energy Director, and José Ignacio Rodríguez Vera, Director of Solar and Wind Construction.
The plant’s evacuation infrastructure will ensure a seamless connection of generated energy to the grid, enhancing efficiency. Additionally, Eiffage Energía Sistemas will oversee the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the plant for the next two decades, ensuring it operates at peak performance throughout its lifecycle.
