EnBW Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg AG and Puratos, an international supplier of food ingredients, have signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to supply solar-generated electricity for Puratos’ operations in Spain.
Starting in 2025, the agreement guarantees 25 GWh of renewable energy annually for over eight years, sourced from EnBW's solar portfolio in Spain, along with Guarantees of Origin (GoO).
Jean-Philippe Michaux, Chief Sustainability Officer at Puratos, highlighted the company's commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2025, with this partnership contributing significantly to their sustainability goals. Matthias Obert, Executive Director at EnBW, emphasized their dedication to providing clean, reliable energy, reinforcing their role as a leading supplier of renewable energy across Europe.
This collaboration further strengthens both companies’ efforts toward a carbon-neutral future.
