Enel North America has officially launched the Estonian Solar project in Delta County, Texas, featuring 202 MW of solar power paired with a 104-MW battery energy storage system. This hybrid project is expected to generate 499 GWh of electricity annually.

Backed by power purchase agreements (PPAs), the project supports corporate sustainability efforts. BXP Inc. has secured 21 MW of capacity, while Capri Holdings Limited, parent company of Versace, Jimmy Choo, and Michael Kors, has also committed to purchasing clean power from the facility.

Stephen Pike, head of Enel Green Power North America, emphasized the role of private sector leadership in the U.S. energy transition, highlighting Enel’s commitment to delivering clean power and flexible storage to meet growing demand.

Enel remains one of Texas' largest renewable energy players, with nearly 5 GW of wind and solar capacity and 1.3 GW of battery storage. With over 100 signed PPAs and 7.3 GW of contracted capacity, North America continues to be a key region for Enel’s renewable energy investments.
