Plenitude has expanded its installed capacity from renewable sources in Spain by 400 MW, reaching nearly 950 MW of photovoltaic and wind power projects, more than double compared with 2023.
A major part of this expansion is the completion of 150 MW at the Caparacena project in Granada, which consists of three photovoltaic plants, each with a capacity of approximately 50 MW. These plants are connected to the national grid via a newly completed 400 kV substation, along with a shared 200 kV substation and transmission line.
In addition, Plenitude has finalized nearly 250 MW of solar plants in Renopool (Extremadura) and Guillena (Andalusia). With these projects, Plenitude has achieved its global target of 4 GW of installed capacity in 2024.
The company has nearly 820 MW of renewable projects currently under construction in Spain, with completion expected between 2025 and 2026, in line with its long-term strategy for growth in the renewable energy sector.
