MW Storage is advancing energy storage in Bavaria with the construction of a large-scale battery system in Arzberg. This facility, boasting a capacity of 100 MW and 200 MWh, is scheduled to go online in the coming months.
To optimize its market presence, MW Storage has partnered with Munich-based Entrix, which will handle the commercialization of 50 MW/100 MWh across various energy markets.
Leveraging artificial intelligence and advanced algorithms, the storage system will be efficiently traded in key energy markets, including primary and secondary control reserves, as well as the day-ahead and intraday wholesale markets.
A Swiss specialist in energy storage solutions, MW Storage launched the Arzberg project under the MW Storage Fund, founded in 2022 to drive energy storage expansion across Europe. The initiative is backed by Reichmuth Infrastructure as the majority stakeholder, with Bayernwerk and Zenob also investing in its development.
