Energy Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman has announced that 1,200 sites across different regions of the Kingdom are currently under consideration for solar energy projects.
Speaking at the Digital Government Forum in Riyadh, the minister outlined plans for providing sustainable energy to companies at a fixed and stable price over an extended period.
Emphasizing the Kingdom’s capability in achieving this goal, he highlighted the Ministry’s success in cost reduction through the application of modern technologies in energy extraction, production, and distribution processes, as well as in manufacturing spare parts and devices.
Prince Abdulaziz also underscored the significance of artificial intelligence technology in monitoring oil and gas pipelines for maintenance, safety, and security.
