GreenVolt and BA Glass have entered into a partnership for the supply of renewable energy in Poland.
The duo has signed an agreement with a duration of 15 years. BA Glass is one of Europe’s largest manufacturers.
Under the agreement, the green energy will be supplied to BA Glass from the fourth quarter of 2023 onwards.
The green energy will be supplied through Augusta Energy, which is a joint venture company. It is a joint venture between KGAL, a German asset manager, and V-Ridium Power, a company operating in the Polish market, completely owned by GreenVolt.
João Manso Neto, CEO of GreenVolt, was quoted, “This agreement with BA Glass in Poland reinforces GreenVolt’s position as a reference operator in the development and operation of renewable energy projects in Europe plus its ability to respond with tailored solutions to the needs of its customers and to help them to achieve their decarbonisation goals,” a report said.
