The 'Carmen' project in Carmona, Seville, will become GRS's largest solar installation in Spain, with over 230,000 photovoltaic modules covering 270 hectares.
GRS has previously built notable photovoltaic plants such as 'Carmonita Norte' (123 MW), 'Desafío Solar' (50 MW), and 'Las Naranjillas' (50 MW) in Seville.
Hugo Álvarez, Technical Director of Everwood Capital, described the project as a major step in Fund V’s investment strategy, citing its location in one of Spain’s top solar radiation areas. He noted that GRS was selected after a competitive tender process, thanks to their strong technical and economic proposal.
GRS COO Jordi Vega emphasized the team’s dedication and expertise, ensuring the project's success. He also expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with Everwood Capital, stating that the 'Carmen' project would showcase their continued commitment to photovoltaic energy in Spain.
