ib vogt has agreed to sell its 780 MWp Greek solar PV and BESS portfolio to Faria Renewables, a leading renewables IPP backed by Omnes Capital’s Capenergie 5 fund and the Faria Group. The portfolio includes a 45 MWp solar farm under construction in Almyros, Greece.
The 45 MWp project, financed by a top Greek bank, is expected to complete construction in late 2025. It spans three sites and will generate enough electricity to power 17,000 households annually, reducing CO2 emissions by 25,000 metric tonnes.
Anton Milner, CEO of ib vogt, stated, “This transaction supports Faria Renewables’ growth in Greece while allowing us to focus on our core European markets and global expansion. We’re grateful to all involved for their outstanding support.”
Akereos Capital advised on M&A, with legal and technical support from Watson Farley & Williams, Statera, and TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas.
