INDEFOL SOLAR has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with global sportswear giant Adidas to implement a Direct Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA) scheme in Vietnam. The collaboration is set to deploy up to 600 GWh per annum of renewable energy, unlocking $600 million in green financing opportunities.
The long-term off-take contract, which spans between 20 to 30 years, will be backed by Adidas’s valued suppliers. This partnership will see the integration of INDEFOL SOLAR’s advanced DPPA technology, which combines solar, hydrogen, wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to provide long-hour storage and stable power supply to factories.
This initiative will enable Adidas to continue producing high-quality products powered entirely by renewable energy, contributing to a more sustainable future.
