Ingenostrum, a leading renewable energy company, has announced a significant milestone in its journey towards sustainable energy with the signing of a financing agreement with Triodos Bank España, a European leader in ethical and sustainable banking. The partnership will fund the construction of 10 photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 42 MWp.
Strategically located in Castilla-La Mancha and Andalucía, two regions renowned for their solar energy potential, the new plants are expected to generate over 87 GWh per year—enough energy to power thousands of homes with clean energy.
The plants will utilize cutting-edge bifacial modules, a technology that maximizes energy production while minimizing environmental impact. By adopting these innovative solutions, Ingenostrum strengthens its position as an Independent Power Producer (#IPP) in Spain's renewable energy market.
The financing agreement underscores the growing role of ethical investment in the renewable energy sector, with Triodos Bank España playing a key role in backing projects that contribute to a more sustainable future. Ingenostrum also acknowledged Agere for its valuable support as the financial advisor on the deal.
This development marks another step in Ingenostrum’s mission to lead Spain’s energy transition and contribute to a greener, more resilient energy system.
