JJ-LAPP and Tonking New Energy to Drive Floating Solar Growth in ASEAN

JJ-LAPP, a joint venture between Jebsen & Jessen Group and LAPP Holding Asia, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tonking New Energy to accelerate the development of floating solar technology across ASEAN countries.

This strategic partnership aims to combine the strengths of both companies to deliver comprehensive floating solar solutions tailored specifically for the region’s needs. By focusing on floating solar installations, the collaboration seeks to enhance renewable energy production while conserving valuable land resources.

Floating solar technology involves the installation of photovoltaic panels on bodies of water such as reservoirs and lakes. This innovative solution not only helps in saving land but also benefits from the natural cooling effects of water, which boosts energy efficiency.

Tonking New Energy brings its expertise in floating solar solutions to the table, while JJ-LAPP contributes its proven track record in supporting renewable energy projects.
