The Nordex Group has successfully increased its order intake for 2024 by 13%, reaching 8,336 MW with 1,452 wind turbines, compared to 7,358 MW with 1,270 turbines in 2023.
Q4 2024 Performance:
In the fourth quarter alone, Nordex received orders for 547 wind turbines, totaling 3,253 MW, marking a nearly 32% increase from Q4 2023’s 2,466 MW.
The Average Sales Price (ASP) per MW rose to EUR 0.89 million, up from EUR 0.84 million in Q4/2023.
Geographical Breakdown:
Europe dominated the orders, accounting for 89% of the MW in Q4 2024. Key markets included Germany, Türkiye, and Spain.
North America, including Canada, made up 11% of orders, with orders also coming from 14 countries overall.
Full Year 2024 Summary:
In total, the Nordex Group received orders from 24 countries, with Europe representing 79% of the total, and North America contributing 12%.
The Average Sales Price for the full year reached EUR 0.90 million/MW, up from EUR 0.84 million/MW in 2023.
José Luis Blanco, CEO of the Nordex Group, expressed optimism: “Our strong order intake, especially in the final weeks of 2024, shows that our competitive product portfolio is resonating with customers. With stable macroeconomic conditions, we expect continued demand in 2025.”
