Octopus Energy Acquires OX2 France and Solar Portfolio

OX2 has finalized the sale of its French solar portfolio and team to Octopus Energy Generation’s Sky fund (ORI SCSp), marking a significant step in advancing renewable energy development in France.

The transaction includes 21 agrivoltaics projects totaling 450 MW and the transfer of 15 employees to Octopus. Agrivoltaics, which integrates solar energy production with agriculture, is a key focus of this portfolio.

This acquisition is the Sky fund’s first investment in France and builds on a longstanding partnership between Octopus and OX2, which includes previous wind project collaborations in Sweden.
