OX2 has secured contracts in Poland's government auctions to sell electricity, enabling the development of a 165 MW solar farm and a 40 MW wind farm.
The 40 MW wind farm, located in south-eastern Poland, will become OX2’s eighth wind farm in the country. In 2024, the company successfully handed over three wind farms to investors. The 165 MW solar farm, planned for the south-western region, will be OX2’s second solar project in Poland.
In addition, OX2 has contracted two battery energy storage systems with a total capacity of 200 MW/400 MWh through the Polish main market auction.
Currently, OX2 is progressing with construction on the Bejsce wind farm (20 MW) and the Rutki solar farm (100 MW), while also managing nearly 280 MW of operational wind farms. By the end of Q3 2024, the company’s development portfolio in Poland had reached approximately 3.1 GW.
