Modus Asset Management, fund management company investing in renewable energy infrastructure projects in the Baltic States and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), has rebranded and will operate under the new name Envolve Capital. The company currently manages 4 investment funds with a total committed capital of over EUR 170 million.
"Over the last seven years since our launch we have grown to become one of the largest renewable energy infrastructure investment managers in the Baltics and Poland, trusted by prominent international institutional investors, family offices and private wealth investors. However, our long-term goals are even more ambitious – to be among the leaders in this field in CEE, where we already manage a number of projects. We have chosen a new brand for this new phase of our international expansion, reflecting company‘s mission and bold ambitions for the future," says Povilas Pečiulis, the company's CEO and member of the Board.
According to him, the key element of the new name "Envolve" is a synthesis of words "energy" and "evolve". They embody company's focus and core mission to contribute to the energy transition across the region: "This is an ambition that makes sense to us not only as a business goal, but also as a way of creating a cleaner, greener energy system in Europe. It also directly contributes to our region's energy independence and security“.
Envolve Capital currently manages 4 closed-end funds for informed investors investing in renewable energy infrastructure. The funds meet the highest sustainability category of SFDR Article 9, according to the requirements of the European Commission's Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation.
The funds managed by the company have so far invested in 370 MW solar and wind power projects in three markets – Lithuania, Poland and Latvia. A notable part of them is already operational and producing green energy, while others are under construction and will gradually become operational in the coming quarters.
Envolve Capital is part of the Modus Group, an international group of companies which, in addition to investment management, is also active in renewable energy development (Green Genius), mobility services (CityBee, MyBee, Mobility Fleet Solutions) and automotive (Modus Automotive).
