Repsol starts production of first power at 175MW wind complex in Spain



Repsol has started the production of first power at a 175MW wind complex in Spain.

The PI wind complex is located in the provinces of Palencia and Valladolid in Castilla y León.

It has been informed that the wind complex comprises seven wind farms with a total installed capacity of 175MW once they all come into operation.

According to the company, it has already completed the grid connection of the first wind turbines in the La Serna wind farm.

Repsol informed that it is towards the development of many renewable projects.

It has added another 100MW in operation to the Delta 2 wind project, it stated. This project consists of 26 wind farms with a total installed capacity of 860MW.

Out of these, four wind farms are in operation while another 18 are all set for construction.

These four operational wind farms alone have a total capacity of 160MW. Out of these, there is the San Bartolomé 1 and 2 wind farms, the company stated.

Similarly, the company will soon start construction of 18 Delta 2 wind farms with a combined capacity of 571MW.
