Reservoir Link Energy obtains six new solar contracts in Malaysia



Reservoir Link Energy has obtained six new solar contracts within three months in Malaysia.

The company secured the deals through its subsidiary Founder Energy Sdn Bhd with a 51% stake. These contracts are valued at RM6.59 million and are located in Selangor, Johor, and Penang.

According to the company, the projects include engineering procurement, construction, commissioning, and solar facility earthing responsibilities.

This development comes at a time when Malaysia’s solar industry has seen tremendous growth over the recent years. Among all, solar energy is one of the most promising sources of renewable energy in the country.

Reservoir Link Executive Director Thien Chiet Chai was quoted in a statement, “As the nation is in transition into renewable energy, we do not foresee the demand to taper off anytime soon.”

He further stated that the company plans to double up its deployment activities to keep up with overwhelming demand.

Through various projects, the company plans to contribute to the renewable energy development of Malaysia.
