
Siemens Gamesa has unveiled plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Le Havre, France, further solidifying its commitment to the offshore wind sector. 🇫🇷
The upgraded site will evolve into a cutting-edge hub for producing 14 MW offshore turbine blades, integrating the latest wind power technology to meet the growing demand of the industry.
The announcement was marked by the presence of key figures including Marc Ferracci, French Minister for Industry & Energy, Edouard Philippe, Mayor of Le Havre, and Yara Chakhtoura, Managing Director of Siemens Gamesa in France, underscoring the project’s significance for both France and the wider European offshore wind market.
With 1 GW already delivered and a further 2.5 GW planned, Siemens Gamesa is on track to power approximately 4 million households, with Le Havre at the heart of the company’s global offshore manufacturing network.
