Spanish company ID Energy Group has secured financing for its solar PV and onshore wind projects in Europe.
The company has secured a development debt facility which will support its pipeline of late-stage renewable projects. With this, ID Energy plans to make a lasting impact on Europe's energy landscape.
According to ID Energy, it's pipeline consists of 67 individual projects, targeted for ready-to-build status between Q1 2023 and Q2 2027. These projects have a capacity range from 1MW to 150MW.
Out of these projects in Europe, Spain has the maximum with 700MW, out of which 500MW consists of onshore wind projects.
Likewise, Poland has a solar PV capacity of 600MWp, while Hungary and Italy consist of 250MWp and 150MWp respectively, the company shared.
ID Energy Group co-founder and chief financial officer Julio Espadas was quoted in a statement, "We are thrilled to collaborate with partners who understand the significance of accelerating the transition to renewable energy in Europe. This financing facility will be a catalyst in our next growth phase, enabling us to significantly scale our pipeline.”
