Sustainable Energy Solutions Sweden Holding AB (SENS) has signed a letter of intent with the municipality of Karlskoga in central Sweden to explore the potential deployment of up to 70 MW of new solar power capacity and a battery energy storage system (BESS). The preliminary study will evaluate the feasibility of a new solar farm spanning about 80 hectares and a BESS of 70 MW. The partners will first seek to arrange a lease agreement for the selected terrain, with the study expected to be completed by the end of 2024. The project aims to contribute to a greener and more sustainable future for Karlskoga.
