Tomorrow Energy and Q Energy to build 21 solar projects in Netherlands



Q Energy has joined hands with Dutch solar developer Tomorrow Energy to build 21 solar projects in the Netherlands. Q Energy is a new green energy player on the European market.

The duo has entered into an agreement to develop the projects with a total capacity of 300MW. The 21 solar projects will have capacity between 4MW and 40MW in size.

These projects are likely to be built and connected with grid within the next three years. It has been reported that the portfolio might include storage, agrivoltaic, and green hydrogen solutions.

According to the companies, the projects are located across the Netherlands, while majority are based in the southern part of the country.

It has been reported that this “300MW portfolio adds to Q Energy’s 12GW development portfolio in Europe.”

Hakkan Yildirim, Managing Director of Tomorrow Energy, was quoted in a report “We are both happy and proud to partner with an experienced player like Q Energy to co-develop the 21 projects. We both seek holistic solutions for our projects, which makes the partnership a perfect fit for us. “

The companies believe that this portfolio would be beneficial to help achieve the ambitious renewable energy targets of the Netherlands.
