Vestas secures 104MW order for wind park in Spain



Vestas has secured a 104MW order for a wind park in Spain.

The company secured the order for the Pinta y Guindalera wind park along with a 10-year service agreement. This project is located in Castilla y León in Spain.

According to the company, the contract comprises the supply and installation of 23 V150-4.5MW wind turbines.

The company secured the order from renewable energy producer Estudios y Proyectos Pradamap, SLU (Grupo Vapat), which has developed 650MW of wind capacity.

It has been informed that currently Grupo Vapat is developing 1GW of additional renewable capacity in the country.

Agustín Sánchez-Tembleque, Vestas General Manager Spain & Portugal, was quoted in a report, “We would like to thank Pradamap (Grupo Vapat) for the trust placed in Vestas 4MW platform and one of its latest models. Its full converter technology provides our customers with the reliability they need to operate in the Spanish grid, marked by an increasing participation of renewable sources.”

Vestas informed that turbine delivery and commissioning is likely to take place in 2023.
